What is a Root Canal?

When a deep cavity, cracked tooth, or injury allows bacteria to enter the inner core of your tooth (the pulp), it causes severe inflammation, extreme pain, and eventually an abscess.

A root canal simply removes this infected pulp, cleans out the bacteria, and seals the tooth to prevent future infection. It doesn't cause pain; it relieves it. Thanks to modern anaesthesia, the procedure is as comfortable as getting a standard filling.

  • Eliminates severe toothache instantly
  • Saves your natural tooth from extraction
  • Prevents infection from spreading to the jawbone
  • Completely numb and pain-free procedure

Do You Need a Root Canal?

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, don't wait. An infection won't heal on its own.

Severe Throbbing Pain

Severe Throbbing Pain

A constant, deep ache that may wake you up at night or worsen when chewing.

Extreme Sensitivity

Extreme Sensitivity

Lingering pain after drinking hot coffee or eating ice cream.

Swollen Gums

Swollen Gums

A pimple-like bump on your gums near the painful tooth, or facial swelling.

Tooth Discoloration

Tooth Discoloration

The tooth may begin to look gray or dark because the nerve tissue inside has died.

The Single-Visit Procedure

Using rotary endodontics and magnification, we usually complete the entire treatment in just one relaxing visit.

1

Step 1: Deep Local Anaesthesia

We use a highly effective local anaesthetic to completely numb the tooth and surrounding area. You will not feel any pain during the procedure.

2

Step 2: Cleaning the Infection

Using a dental microscope and precise rotary files, we gently remove the infected pulp from the tiny root canals inside your tooth.

3

Step 3: Sealing the Tooth

Once the canals are thoroughly disinfected, we fill them with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha to seal out bacteria permanently.

4

Step 4: The Final Crown

A few days later, we place a custom-made ceramic crown over the tooth to restore its full strength and protect it from fracturing.
